If You Can’t Educate Them, Drug Them

Maybe this is the answer to Republican voters continually voting against their own best interests (and dragging the country down with them).  Now if we can just find a way to slip it into their Kool-Aid, we might have a shot at turning this thing around.

I don't think the pills would do it for the hard-core loyalists and religious-right hard cases of Bush's base. I get the impression many of them value Bush precisely because those of us on the left find him so thoroughly lacking and his so-called leadership so unceasingly horrible.

Think ongoing spite job.

More intelligent fruit flies is a frightening thought. Unless, perhaps, they could be trained to fly in squadrons against one's enemies...picture the swarms of bees a la old cartoons, forming into arrows...
(We've been having a plague of fruit flies at our place, and I'm going mad.)
